Les Lilas Summer Camps

Enroll Your Little Camper for Some Summer Fun!

Join Les Lilas French Bilingual Community School’s Immersion Summer Camp Program! Our native speaking teachers will bring your children to life with a rich and fun experience while educating your children with our well-rounded, thoughtfully planned programs for all levels.

Who & When?

Camps are open to Les Lilas students and to non-students, beginner and all levels of speakers. Our camps are setup on weekly bases, offering several choices throughout five weeks (June 26-July 31) so you can plan your summer, family calendars.

Our Maternelle Program is open to all potty-trained children or children already exposed to school,  Ages 4 - 6.

The Elementary Program is open to all children going into 1st through 5th Grade for the 2017-2018 academic school year. 

What You Can Expect?

Campers have the opportunity to participate each week in multiple activities to keep them engaged and enthusiastic, through a combination of fun academic classes to start each day and activities to keep them moving each afternoon. Activities such as: hikes, music, dance, sports, swimming, ping-pong, yoga, ball games, etc…

What Esle?

We also offer a wide range of additional activities and experiences for your child through our 4 Rotating-Workshops! We encourage our campers to make their own choices and have the freedom to try them all.

Station activities such as Bread Making, Dance/Karaoke, Coding, and Fashion.

Week 1: Secret Spy School

June 26-30, 2017

Each day at Spy Camp is filled with top secret briefings and activities that will put spy skills and street smarts to the test. 

During the week we will learn from real spies, and hit the streets to run training missions, develop a disguise for cover, make and break codes, marshmallow shooters, invisibles ink messages , dust the fingerprint, discover escape and evasion techniques, create and use spy gadgets, uncover the science behind spying—all of this and more awaits young recruits!

 On Friday: Parents will be invited to our New Spies’ Graduation. 

Week 2: Music/Rock Band

July 3-7, 2017

This camp is all about fun, making new friends and exploring the world of music. (crafting instruments, music games, learning instruments specific to each continent.

Students will enjoy studying variety of music forms, learn the arts of music appreciation, and have the opportunity to meet different local artists.

We will also make a CD for Campers to keep as a memory of their fun week.

 On Friday: We will perform a rocking show for parents’ great pleasure, from campers’ own instruments they build throughout the week.

Week 3: Summer Magic

July 10-14, 2017

Campers experience the world of magic, fairy tales, and make-believe with us!  Students will learn the difference between what is real and what is not, and will have a lot of fun learning various magic tricks, reading folk tales, and more!

 On Friday: A real magician will come and make all of our students disappear!

Week 4: Science

July 17-21, 2017

Burst into the world of chemistry by creating Les Lilas Mad Lab Show, complete with experiments that will blow your mind.

Acids and basis, Buoyance’s changes in the state of matter liquid and solid, chemical reactions, will all be explored this week.

 On Friday: Parents are invited to check out our own Science Fair.

Week 5: Nature

July 24-28, 2017

Spend a week having fun in nature! 

Explore the world through hands-on activities, nature games, storytelling and songs. Discover mud, bugs and plants with new friends (all the animals around), or bring a friend and create your adventures together.

 On Friday: Nature Vision will come and bring to us a new adventure!

  • Monday-Friday 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
