ADRIENNE DAVIS
Grande Élémentaire

Adrienne Davis has had a lifelong love of literature and language–coming from a multilingual family, she has always been surrounded by different languages and immersed in different cultures. While most of her life was spent in the United States, she spent quite a few years of her childhood in India and Turkey, before her family settled down outside of Chicago. In 2003, she graduated from the University of Evansville with a degree in English (specifically writing) and mass communication.

Prior to becoming a teacher, she worked for many years in the publishing and media industry, working on everything from newsletters and websites to books and magazines. In 2018, she decided to make the final leap towards her dream of being a teacher and working with children, and worked in preschools and various Seattle-based children’s literacy programs before entering National Louis University for her Master’s in Teaching.

In her free time, Adrienne enjoys playing ice hockey, traveling, reading (naturally!), and spending time with her family and dog.
