ENRICHMENT PROGRAM: DÉCOUVERTE

Our after-school enrichment program, Découverte, provides non-academic classes led by Les Lilas teachers or outside vendors. Examples of past classes include Yoga, Art, Drama, and Engineering. There is also after-school homework help, Aide aux devoirs, to help La Grande Élémentaire students with their French homework.

DÉCOUVERTE SESSIONS

There are three 8-week sessions per school year.

  • FALL SESSION:
    • Class guide available the third week of August
    • Registration occurs the first week of September
    • Session begins the third week of September
  • WINTER SESSION:
    • Class guide available mid-December
    • Registration occurs the first week of January
    • Session begins the second week of January
  • SPRING SESSION:
    • Class guide available the first week of March
    • Registration occurs the first week of April
    • Session begins the third week of April
CLOSED DATES

Découverte only runs when school is in session. If school is closed for any reason, that date is not included in the schedule. Likewise, Découverte is not offered on half days with early dismissal. If a class is cancelled for any reasion, it will be made up at the end of the 8-week session.

  • LA MATERNELLE: 3:30–4:30 p.m.
  • L'ÉLÉMENTAIRE & LA GRANDE ÉLÉMENTAIRE: 4:00–5:00 p.m.

Please note snack is not provided.
