ANNUAL FUND
The Les Lilas Annual Fund is the school's most important source of revenue other than tuition, providing more than 4 percent of our operating revenue each year. Your donations contribute to every aspect of the school’s operations. Without your generosity, we could not supply beautiful Montessori materials, offer competitive salaries and benefits for faculty and staff, arrange for professional development opportunities, or set up financial aid for our families. We strive for 100% participation from our families, faculty, staff, and board members. Please remember that every gift, no matter how large or small, truly makes a difference in providing a Les Lilas education.
Our 2024-2025 Annual Fund Campaign runs November 18-22, 2024, and our goal is to reach $70,000 in donations or pledges during that week. All funds received will be put toward our operational budget, outdoor education, and teacher training with the AEFE (Agency for French Education Abroad). A donation of any size will have a great impact on our school.

WHAT DOES THE ANNUAL FUND SUPPORT?
The Les Lilas Annual Fund is the cornerstone of our fundraising efforts. Les Lilas relies on the generous contributions from our famillies, faculty, staff, and Board of Directors to provide educational resources and professional development, as well as fulfilling other needs as tehy arise each year.
HOW MUCH SHOULD I GIVE?
No gift is too small! Each family can decide their level of giving based on their circumstances. You can either give your donation in full or spread it over time — for example, you can choose to give $10 a month for nine months, which is an amazing gift for our school!
HOW DO I GIVE TO THE LES LILAS ANNUAL FUND?
There are many ways to give!
Corporate Matching: You can increase the power of your gift by participating in your employer's matching gift program. Contact your Human Resources Department to see if your company matches charitable gifts. Les Lilas's non-profit EIN is 47-4327263.
Pledge: You can make a pledge during our Annual Fund week and pay later. You have until June 30 of the current school year to make your contribution. To make your pledge via Brightwheel, click here.

WHAT'S THE DEAL WITH 100% PARTICIPATION?
Participation from our entire community demonstrates your trust and belief in our mission of providing our students with a strong academic foundation and fostering a lifelong joy of learning. Also, 100% participation strengthens our appeal to donors, as we start to submit grant requests.
WILL THE AMOUNT MY FAMILY GIVES BE MADE PUBLIC?
We will publicly acknowledge all our donors in a list of names published in our monthly newsletter, but we will not share the specific dollar amount of your contributions. You can also choose to make your donation anonymously. To do so, when you donate online through our donation platform, you can opt to hide your name and/or donation amount. Alternatively, you can contact our Board President, Sarah Hiller, at sarah@les-lilas.com to make arrangements for your anonymous donation.
