Germain Mariolle was born and raised in France but has lived internationally since 2001, settling in the United States in 2015. His daughter attended Les Lilas, and he was excited to join the board of directors in 2019 to help the school meet its fullest potential and support its mission, vision, and goals.

He has worked for Microsoft in various roles since 2004 in Japan, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom. Based in the Seattle area, he is now an IT Regional Director, leading a global team through high visibility data center projects for the Azure Cloud business.

His spare time is mostly spent with his wife, Misa, and their daughter, Aria. He is also an aficionado of pinball: he plays competitively, runs pinball events in the Seattle area, and restores old pinball machines.
