Magali Boussu was born and raised in France, and she worked as a personal assistant there for 8 years. Over the course of her career, she has worked in different sectors, but she has always had direct contact with people, which was her favorite part of the job.

After leaving Paris in 2015 with her husband and her son, they settled in Seattle in 2018. In 2019, she decided to switch career paths and was hired as an assistant teacher at Les Lilas. This experience opened her eyes to the Montessori pedagogy, and she was impressed with the methodology and how it suited children with different learning styles. She is now L’Élémentaire’s French teacher and has obtained her Montessori certification for lower elementary.

Her spare time is mostly spent with her husband and her sons. She enjoys hiking, traveling, and discovering new things.
