MOHAMED “MO” BELAICHE
Assistant Teacher, La Maternelle

Mohamed “Mo” Belaiche was born near Lille in the north of France, close to the Belgian border. He earned a Bachelor of Science in education from University of Lille 3, and he went on to earn a master’s degree in teaching French as a second language.

Mo has worked in France, England, and in the United States, where he spent time in Louisiana and California before moving to Washington State. He has taught in schools with different educational systems, including French public schools, French immersion schools, and Montessori schools. He was also head tennis coach for varsity and JV teams at a high school.

Mo is passionate about tennis and plays in local USTA competitions. He also likes to go running and hiking, as well as learning about diversity, cultures, languages, history, and visiting museums.
