Originally from Lyon, France, Sylvie spent 20 years in Paris where she studied at a business school and worked in marketing and communication for over 15 years. She moved with her husband and two sons from Paris to Luxembourg in 2013, then to Bellevue in 2018.

Moving to Seattle was a significant change. As she left her career in marketing and communication behind, she found new interests in exploring the natural beauty of the Evergreen State. In the winter, she enjoys skiing down the nearby slopes of Mount Rainier and Snoqualmie which reminds her of time spent in the French Alps.

As she settled into her new community, she shifted her focus to engaging with local schools. Today, she looks forward to connecting with children and contributing to their growth and learning experiences.
